The History of Garners News
Garners News began in 1926 as a traditional newsagent in South Street, Eastbourne, East Sussex. It was opened by Horice Garner and at the time, simply supplied the nearby area and delivered a very small amount of newspapers locally. Jack Garner, Horice's son took over the shop when World War II started and also expanded the delivery service. Then, in 1981, Jack's son, Michael took over and passed it on to his own son, William, in 2007. William has since supported Garners News in going from strength to strength as a Newspaper Delivery Company.
