History of Garners News
In 1926, we started life as a newsagent in South Street, Eastbourne, which was opened by Horice Garner. At that time the business supplied the local area and only delivered a small number of papers to the surrounding area. When World War II began, Horice’s son, Jack took over the shop and increased the delivery service. Then, in 1981, Jack’s son, Horice’s grandson, Michael took on the shop and in 2007, Michael’s son William took the helm at Garners News and transformed it from a newsagent to a modern Newspaper Delivery Company.
