The History of Our Business
We were originally founded by Horice Garner in 1926, and began as a newsagents on South Street, in the heart of Eastbourne. At first we simply supplied a small amount of deliveries locally.
As World War II began, Horice's son, Jack too the reigns of the shop and grew the delivery service. Jack's son, Michael then took over Garners News in 1981 and in 2007, the business was passed on to Michael's son, William, who has made the organisation the multi-county delivery company it is now!
