The History of Garners News
Garners News began as a small newsagents on South Street, Eastbourne, founded by Horice Garner. In its beginnings Garners news only supplied to the local area with a small number of deliveries.
Once World War II started, Horice's son, Jack took over the running of the shop. In this time, Jack built up the delivery service and then in 1981, Jack's son, Michael took over the running on the shop. Michael passed Garners on to his son William in 2007. William transformed Garners News from a newsagents into the multi-county Newspaper Delivery Company that it is today.
