The History of Our Family Run Business
Founded by Horice Garner, Garners News had humble beginnings on South Street in Eastbourne. When it began, Garners news only supplied the nearby area and only did a small amount of deliveries to the local area.
Horice's son, Jack took over the running of the shop as World War II started. Jack built up the delivery service and in 1981, Jack's son, Michael took over the shop and passed it on to his own son, William in 2007. William metamorphosed Garners news from a newsagents, into the multi-county Newspaper Delivery Company that it is today.
