The History of Garners News
Our roots go back to 1926, where we started as a small newsagent, based in South Street in Eastbourne. Horice Garner founded Garners News and the shop served the local area and he delivered a few newspapers nearby. Once World War II began, Horice's son, Jack took over the shop and then in 1981, Jack's son, Michael began running it. In 2007, Michael passed Garners News on to his son, William, who has been running ever since and has upgraded it to a modern Newspaper Delivery Company.
